カナダ・ビクトリア 留学だより 2月
9月からカナダのビクトリアに10ヶ月留学している高校2年生から、お便りが届きました。
こんにちはSaki です！２月はビクトリアでも少し雪を見ることができました。新しい授業にも慣れてきてとても充実した日々を送っています。そして今月からクラブ活動が始まりました。私はバドミントン部に所属し、学校の選抜メンバーにも選んでいただきました。これからチームメイトと共にたくさん練習や試合をするのがとても楽しみです。
Hello, this is Saki! In February, we were able to see a little snow in Victoria. I’ve gotten used to my new classes and have been spending very fulfilling days. Club activities also started this month. I joined the badminton club and was selected as a member of the school’s representative team. I’m really looking forward to practicing and playing many matches together with my teammates

今月は学校の各学年によるイベントがありました。私の学年はキャンプへ行きました。様々な生徒の発表を聞き、ディスカッションを行いました。自分の意見を友達と交換し合う中で理解を深めていくのはとてもおもしろいです。他にも礼拝や色々なゲームをしたりと、同じ学年の子達との仲がより深まったとても良い機会でした。最後には海外ならではのみんなでダンスをしてたくさん盛り上がりました。
This month, there was an event organized for each grade at school. My grade went on a camp trip. We listened to presentations from various students and had discussions. It was very interesting to deepen our understanding by exchanging opinions with friends. We also had chapel, played various games, and it was a great opportunity to become closer with other students in the same grade. At the end, we all danced together, which is something unique to being abroad, and everyone had a lot of fun.

あと残りの期間も少なくなってきましたが、後悔のないよう最後まで自分なりに全力で取り組みたいと思います。
