カナダ・ビクトリア 留学だより 11月
9月からカナダのビクトリアに10ヶ月留学している高校2年生から、お便りが届きました。
こんにちはSakiです！カナダに来てもう3ヶ月が経ちました、町はすっかりクリスマスムードになっています。冬は空が暗くなるのがとても早いですが、暗くなるとイルミネーションがとても綺麗に見えます。

今月は祝日が多かったため、友達ともたくさんお出かけをしました。ビクトリアの街並みはとても綺麗なのでよく友達とご飯の後に散歩をしたりします。カナダに来て様々な国の子と会話をすることでお互いの文化の違いを知り合えたり、お互いの言語で自己紹介をしてみたりと本当に楽しく、新しい発見が多く今まで知り得なかった色々な国のことを直接聞くことができて自分の視野が本当に広がったと感じます。
This month there were many holidays, so I went out a lot with my friends. Victoria’s streets are very beautiful, so after meals my friends and I often take walks. Since coming to Canada, I’ve had the chance to meet people from various countries and learn about our cultural differences, and we even try introducing ourselves in each other’s languages. It’s been really fun, with lots of new discoveries, and I feel my horizons have expanded because I’ve been able to directly hear about many countries I didn’t know about before.

また今月は留学生のイベントで放課後にボーリングへ行きました。久しぶりにやったため、あまり良い記録ではなかったですが、とても盛り上がり楽しい時間を過ごすことができました。本当にひとつひとつが私にとってとても貴重な体験であり、大切な思い出です。これからも頑張って行きたいと思います。
Also this month, there was a student event after classes where we went bowling. I didn’t score well after a long time, but it was really exciting and we had a lot of fun. Each moment is truly a precious experience and a valuable memory for me. I want to keep doing my best from now on.
