8月からカナダのウイニペグに1年留学している高校2年生の生徒からお便りが届きました。

Hi! This is Hana from Winnipeg, Canada. I arrived here last week. This is my first picture with my host family at Winnipeg Airport. We spent time at home before school started.

こんにちは！先週、カナダのウィニペグに到着しました。これは私の記念すべき最初の写真で、空港でホストシスターと撮りました。

This is my first day of school. My host sister’s school and my school are near, so we can go to school together.

初めての登校の朝です。私の学校とホストシスターの学校は近いので一緒に出掛けます。

This is my school, Maples Collegiate. It is a big school and there are about 1300 students in this school! I'm taking English as an Additional Language class, Graphics class, and Healthy Living class for the first semester. In the English as an Additional Language class, there are a lot of exchange students. I became friends with students who came from Thailand and Malaysia. We went to the cafeteria and ate lunch together.

ここが私の通っている学校「Maples Collegiate」です。生徒数が1300名の大きな学校です。前期は、英語、グラフィックス、保健の授業を受けています。英語のクラスには多くの留学生がいて、タイやマレーシアから来た生徒と仲良くなり、カフェテリアで一緒にランチをしました。

I’m having a very good time at school ♪
