In order to stop the potential spread of the new coronavirus, Covid-19, classes at our school have been conducted online since the start of April. However, with the recent lifting of the state of emergency in Japan, face-to-face classes have been restarting across the country.
On Monday 15th June, students returned to Shizuoka Eiwa for regular classes. The daily schedule is a little different with changes made to ensure the safety of students and teachers. However, everyone looked very happy to return to school.
In particular, the new students in the first grade of junior and senior high seemed very happy to have a chance to meet their new friends and catch up with old friends.
It was very nice to finally meet the new students and to begin teaching face-to-face again. English Conversation classes in the future may be a little different but the most important thing remains: that our students have fun speaking English and do their best to improve their English ability as best as they can.
